I enjoy allowing people to see their strengths and weaknesses without being bias. Our past is that and we decide the future. Im not here to past judgement or tell you what you should do. Im here to be a listener and guide you as I teach you better ways of dealing with whatever it is you are experincing at the time. People need people even if we are strangers! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will inquire a intake process and currently I am accepting all insurances. I will ask about what the current and presenting problems are and what brings that individual to counseling. I will explain how counseling can be discharged at anytime if the client feels uncomfortable or as if they have recieved what they needed. We will build a trusting relationship while I support that individual through their process. We together will create an individual plan that will be specifically directed towards that individual and their treatment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently an Outpatient therapist LPC-R and an crisis assessor. I conduct one on one sessions with families and individual sessions to promote healthy stabilization and growth. I specifically like to work with couples and assist them with staying together and resolving unhealthy behaviors and promote growth and change.
I also am a certified Life/Relationship Coach and no insurance is accepted for that area. Its 100/ hr for however you need me and it can occur within any state.

Insurance is always welcomed if you live in the state of Virginia. I do provide a sliding scale and in doing so we will work together to accompany your payments.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started by one day being asked to assist women prisoners and then a friend asked me to counsel her and her son which showed me I could heal while I assist others through their healing process.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with mental health, families, marital relationships, children, and singles.

I am fond of additional funds being contributed to mental health services.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Please look for expertise and give them a chance and if it doesnt fit move on never be uncomfortable as you are trying to establish a connection.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do you have a preference male or female? Are you willing to commit? Do you really want change? Are you comfortable with out of network providers? Are you okay with working over the internet?
