She helped me overcome with a lot of stress that I was enduring. TD guided me in finding balance in my life. I feel truly blessed to have met TD and I have her to thank for this huge recovery. My life will never be the same and I am very grateful I had the opportunity to be counseled by TD.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first session is an intake session, whereby, I meet with the client and/or family to discuss the precipitating events that led to counseling. During the intake session, I gather biopsychosocial information and provide the client with an opportunity to get started with the sharing process of their concerns.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As a Doctoral Candidate, and licensed counselor, I am passionate about helping others achieve the best part of themselves. I have experience working in psychiatric hospitals, schools, colleges and universities, a correctional facility, outpatient community clinic(s), and private practice settings. My experience spans from serving in a variety of roles and working within the areas of: eating disorders, dual diagnosis, mood issues, anger management, and trauma/PTSD. Finally, additional training includes: Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, Crisis Response and Management, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Marriage and Family Therapy.
