Theoretical Orientation
I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, specifically Reality Therapy. This is a psychotherapeutic approach that addresses your issues through a goal-oriented, systemic process.

I have training and experience in Anger Management, Anxiety Disorders, Behavior Disorders, Bereavement/Grief/Loss, Borderline Personality Disorders, Career Counseling, Children's Behavioral Disorders, Chronic Fatigue, Compulsive Behaviors, Compulsive Gambling, Depression, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Domestic Violence, Parenting, PTSD, Sexual Abuse.
Credentials
After graduating from Texas Woman's University in 1996 with a master's degree in Counseling and Development, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also a Certified Experiential Therapist, a Grief Counselor and on the Board of Directors for the Texas Council for Problem and Compulsive Gambling.
In addition, I have been approved as a Clinical Supervisor of therapists by the Texas Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Applications are now being accepted for LPC internships.
