About

I specialize in behavior modification for children ages 6-17, adults, and couples.

Relationships are essential to living a healthy and productive life. The most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves. Once a person appreciates thier self-worth they can offer a stable relationship with anyone they interact with.

Learning new techniques and undoing and breaking bad habits such as emotional cutoff or any other dysfunction is my specialty. Self-growth is possible if you are open minded and willing to put effort and work towards the desired changes needed to improve your life.

Grief is such a sensitive subject and I was buried under a lot of emotions. Susana’s guidance was very insightful and it allowed me to obtain new perspective and the courage, coping skills, and positive outlook to move forward.

She is wonderful because she knows how to work with people with grief issues when there’s a loss of a loved one. She is very easy to talk with and will work with people to help in working with your schedule. I wam so fortunate to have found her after the loss of my mother! She is top-notch.

Frequently asked questions

I offer a 10 minute consultation. Once, it is agreed upon that I am a good match then consent forms are e-mailed with a scheduled appointment time.

I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling. I graduated in 2005. In 2016, Grief Certification was obtained from The Grief Recovery Institute. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

I offer a 45 minute up to 1hr 15 minute sessions for $75.00 for individuals, $90 for couples, and $110 for family counseling.

I had a passion to learn techniques that would support individuals struggling with internal conflicts, communication issues, relationship issues, and grief and loss.

I have supported children, teenagers, couples, and families through breaking the cycle of repeated unhealthy behaviors patterns and introduced healthier options and solutions.

In 2019, I was interviewed on The Morning Dose for the work I do with children in school districts.

I created a curriculum that teaches children a unique "skill set" to process grief, loss, divorce, unresolved hurt and anger. This allows the child to live thier life with peace and happiness.

Seek a counselor that you feel you can connect with and feel comfortable with. The rapport established crestes a healthy therapeutic relationship.

A person should feel ready to acknowledge what areas of thier life they need improvement with and ask how the counselor how they anticipate working to achieve the desired outcomes.
