About
Temperament Therapy is a very insightful tool. Through a simple ten-minute assessment, it will reveal your God-given identity. It will uncover your "real" self (socially, intellectually, your strength of power or powerlessness, and affection (how much you need, give, and want). You will learn your strengths in God and how to overcome your weaknesses. This therapy is very effective used over decades. Call to make an appointment today.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a fifteen-minute consultation, FREE. We will discuss the issues, then I will set the client up for a ten-minute assessment. The results will give us insight into their in-born temperament, which will connect with the presenting issues. I recommend at least four sessions which will aid in making positive changes, attitudes and thinking.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Commissioned Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, Certified and Licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association as a Temperament Counselor, Clinical Member, International Christian Institute and Graduate School of Houston, Texas, Certified as an Emotional Code Practitioner. M.Ed. The University of Phoenix, B.S. Southwestern Assemblies of God. Various other certificates and diplomas.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard fee is $100.00 an hour or I offer a sliding scale fee, depending on the client's yearly income. I do not take insurance. There is a one-time fee of $50.00 for the Temperament Assessment. I will use the results as the basis for counseling. Temperament Therapy reveals the insight necessary to determine each individual's needs and wants in three areas: social, control, and affection.
Unfortunately, I do not take insurance.
How did you get started in this business?
I started my counseling career as a Group Counselor for a youth program in our local schools titled The S.A.F.E. Program. The acronym stands for (Schools Alcohol and Drug-Free Education) was a grant-funded program teaching children about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, bullying, and building character skills. I developed a love for helping students individually and in groups. I then continued a life-long career as a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor. I have built my career with a love for helping people, years of study and practice and I am currently working on my internship in a Doctorate Degree.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, life direction, unhealthy relationships, codependency, and more. Many of my clients have had successful counseling results in one session or four sessions, others check in with me once a month. One client was in a five-year cohabiting relationship and felt like the relationship stopped growing. She faced the truth that her mate never had intentions of marrying her. She admitted several truths and learned how valuable and strong she was. She decided to move on with her life without him, and with counseling and a consciousness of her God-given Temperament, she reinvented herself with grace and truth and a new blueprint of her life. She moved back to her home town close to her family, had a custom-built home, and happy with her decisions and life changes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would suggest the client read the counselors credentials, read their profile, and shop around. Choose a counselor that will meet your specific needs, one that understanding of your particular need. I believe all counselors have the "common good of the client" and abide by our ethical beliefs.
