Do you know what it's like to not be listened to when you go to your healthcare provider, I do.
Do you know how frustrating it is not to be talked to like a person in language that you can't understand and not be asked or given a choice in the decision making process? I do.
Have you ever been so stressed out about not knowing what's going on, what is wrong in your body and you just didn't know who to ask or where to even go to get answers? I've been there!
Are you tired of being asked to just take another pill, so you can sleep or just get through the day? I sure am!! And I wonder if you are too?
Well if this sounds like you. Then R&R PT Rooms just may be the place for you.
The first thing we will do is chat with you on the phone to see what's going on, how bad your symptoms are, what you have tried, what the problems are keeping you from doing, what part of life you are missing out on.
Then if you are appropriate and we feel that we can help you and if you like us, we'll schedule a time to figure out what's going on, tell you what your options are, and then let you make a decision that you can feel comfortable with.
How does that sound to you?
If that sounds alright to you, give us a call at 817 918 3667, but only do this if you want to figure out whats going on, you want to find a way to get back to being you and doing what you didn't think you could do again.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master of Science in Exercise and Motion- helps me to know how best to balance movement, exercise and rest for best results.
Masters of Physical Therapy- Gives me foundation to understand disease and pain systems, and how body parts can go wrong and what is needed to get them to work correctly again.
Certified Functional Manual Therapist- Helps me watch how people move to figure out what is wrong and then to use common movement but with complex hands on skills to help to body to make changes that a person can feel and notice.
Fellow of American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists- that is alot of words that really means there are not many therapists that want to continue to study to learn better ways to recognize how to listen and to help people with hands on skills for things that most people don't know can be help people with the following: migraines, 20 year old jaw pain, nerve pain and/or numbness, difficulty walking because hip is still painful after surgery and a fall, arm pain and numbness that was still there even after 4 surgeries and therapy and had to quite their job until we were able to help them discover relief.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I don't think it is fair to consider anyone "Average" or "Standard", but each person is unique and special. And because of this I think it is only fair to listen to the person, and to find out what is going on, how bad it is, how long it has been there, what they are missing out on and what their goals are first. Then and only then can I give my specialist opinion and give them several options, and ask which one works best for them. There are several different payment options depending on how the client wants to proceed.
How did you get started in this business?
Having had multiple motor-cycle and sport accidents and not having any awareness of or access to any sort of therapy... having to struggle with finding a path to recovery and back to activity. I found that what I most wanted, was the same as what most people want today, to be listened to, to be heard and acknowledged for what they have been through, where they are at now. For someone to help find what the root cause of the problem, and to learn what the options are to address it.
My joy is to help people. To help discover with them the potential that each person has within them.
For 10 years I practiced as an Exercise Scientist, even going to Africa to develop a Sport Medicine Program for a developing country. When some of my athletes got hurt as they were competing to quality for the Atlanta Olympics, and their injuries were beyond my skill... I wanted to learn more. So when I came back to the US I went back to school, got licensed and continued to train with masters in their fields to learn better ways work with hands on skills to help people get results that they have not found with just doing exercises, pills, modalities and sometimes even surgery.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Focus is on clients from 35 to 60 but have worked with ages 1 to 99, no joke.
Customers are best who, care about taking care of themselves, don't want to take pills or do surgery unless they have to.
Clients who want to stay active and mobile, and /or to regain control of their independence.
People who want to learn about what is causing the problem and what their options are BEFORE they spend.
Moms, Dads, Daughters and Sons, Grandparents, business people, workers, weekend warriors, yoginis, karate and fitness instructors, Drs, lawyers, steel workers, handymen, painters and photographer, actors, TV personalities and professional athletes, wheelchair bound champions, people with all sorts of diseases that affect their movement, pain, numbness, ability to feel or move. Some don't have any pain, but just want to be better runners or karate instructors. All have been people that were looking for ways to discover how to overcome a challenge so they could get back to taking care of themselves and their families, to work and to enjoy their retirements.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last month a client came in for a session. I asked her how she was doing. What she said caught me off guard and I had to let the words sink in. She almost with a mixed bit of sadness along with excitement..."I'm doing okay... except I think that now I may have to give up my Handicap car sticker. Two months ago I had difficulty getting from car into the store, but last week when a friend suggested eating at a nearby restaurant, I just locked the car and walked the 10 minutes to get there. In the past there is no way I could have done that, until I started to work here with you." Wow. That just made my day. That is what makes it worth it all, helping people to get back to living.
