I specialize in helping Christian individuals and couples heal sexual struggles, whether it be lack of fulfillment, past abuse or sexual addiction. Using a Christ-centered and Biblically based approach, sex therapy maintains ethical boundaries through each professional session and the process can include dialogue, education, coaching, and referrals.
Christ in His encounters with individuals was always accepting of the person, yet "cared enough to confront" what one needed to change regarding choices, behaviors, attitude, and most importantly, the heart. Healing is facilitated by tailoring services according to the presenting needs and walking with clients as they deal with these painful areas in their life.
I work with clients of all ages: children (ages 13+), adolescents, and adults. I welcome clients who have a differing faith or no faith perspective. I am licensed by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor(#68306).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you decide that I would be a good fit for your needs and we connect over the phone, I will email you access information to my HIPPA compliant client portal and schedule your first appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Master's degree in counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Additionally, I have received post-graduate training in Christian sex therapy from Richmont Graduate University and the Institute for Sexual Wholeness in Atlanta, Georgia.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate for counseling is $125 per session. A session is typically 45 - 50 minutes.
I do not accept insurance at this time, but would be happy to provide you with a receipt so that you may request a reimbursement from your insurance company.
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up as a pastor's kid (PK) and watched my dad as he walked with others through their painful life experiences. As I became a teenager, it became evident that I wanted to help others as well.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a critical part of the healing process. It's a privilege to be invited into the sacred space of woundedness that one experiences in life. Therapy provides an opportunity to wrestle with those painful and often messy areas creating an opportunity for healing to occur.

My experience includes working with clients of various ages and issues such as: sexual abuse/trauma, addictions, anxiety, affair recovery, depression, disordered eating, grief, gender/sexual identity issues, parenting and family issues. Additionally, I have received post-graduate training in Christian sex therapy from the Institute for Sexual Wholeness.
