I am a highly experienced therapist and coach with 23 years' experience. I am passionate about helping those struggling with stress, burnout, depression, anxiety and binge or emotional eating. If you are feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to turn or your eating feels out of control. I can help you get your life on track. I am a nationally known expert on binge eating and even wrote a book called "Breakthrough Binge Eating". I can do in person and virtual therapy in SC and virtual coaching throughout the US and internationally. I offer a 12 week virtual coaching program for binge eaters.
I am passionate about being able to help people go from feeling overwhelmed, lost, and even hopeless to finding balance and a sense of control. I love helping people uncover the reasons why they are stuck, end the pattern of self-destructive thoughts and behaviors and find meaing and joy in their lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I answer my own phone and spend a few minutes discusssing what they are looking for in a therapist and what there goals are. I set up an assessment to determine if we are a good match. I can typically get someone in within a few days. All of my paperwork is electronic and easy to fill out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed clinical social worker with 23 years' experience. I am trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness Based Therapies, and am a Certified Eating Disorder Therapist. I have been trained by the leading experts in the field. I have recently written a book titled "Breakthrough Binge Eating."
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My fees are $300 for an hour and a half assessment and $150-$200 an hour depending on the service.
How did you get started in this business?
I have a passion for helping others overcome their struggles with depression, anxiety, low self-worth and issues related to food, weight and body image.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Adult women, men, college students. Women who are seeking balance in their lives, who are experiencing burnout and want to learn how to cope better with stress. I specialize in working with those struggling with binge, emotional or stress eating.

Speaking to a large group of therapists and dietitians on the topic of "Helping your clients Overcome Binge Eating" in Asheville, NC. Walking in the park with my 2 rescue dogs, Joni and Jasper.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is important to look for someone who has at least 5 years' experience and if you are looking for help with binge or emotional eating, be sure the therapist is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorders and has specific experience working with binge eating or overeating.
