About

I'm very skilled in providing the space and tools to help people control their thinking and take charge of their own life. I can help them to achieve and strengthen the capacity of the mind, and the body. You will be able to honor your feelings and your difficulties and then deal with them in a healthy way.

I have more than 15 years of experience working as a counselor and coach, and 30 years of practice in mindfulness. Helping people to deal with suffering and be free from it is my passion.

In my sessions, my customers will develop self-awareness, discovering their needs through voice dialogue techniques, and Enneagram tools. They will practice mindfulness skills and body wisdom to deal with trauma and difficulties in life.

They will be able to reduce their stress, anxiety, grief, depression, and anger with Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy(MBCT) and Mindful-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Then they will be skillfully taking the right action with their negative emotions. More than that they will learn how to communicate to get their needs met through non-violent communication techniques, how to take care of themselves, and their relationships.

Sharing a trusting, safe, supporting, respectful, caring, compassionate and honest space for my clients. Being able to help them to discover the tools they need to deal with and solve their issues. Being fully there for them. Integrating my tools and techniques to match my customers’ needs. Knowing they can deal with their issues better, that their needs are met, that they walk out of my sessions smiling, relaxed and confident. Having my clients come back to me to share their progress or failure and seeing that they are aware, kind with themse and willing to try again.

Having worked with a number of different therapists over the years, I can honestly say that I found Kess of Yosuda to be in a class by herself. She brings her warm authentic presence to her work along with her vast knowledge of human behavior, creating a safe and supported space for me to explore my thoughts, emotions and interactions with others. With her gentle yet firm guidance, I have been able to use the tools of mindfulness to awaken to the ways in which lifelong beliefs about myself and patterns of behavior and communication have not served me well. Kess has helped me to grow in confidence through recognizing and celebrating my strengths in order to build upon them. Her highly individualized approach integrating mind, body and spirit is allowing me to transform towards a calmer and more joyful version of myself. With Kess help, I have been able to focus more clearly on my purpose and goals for my life and relationships.

Kessuda is an extraordinary therapist. She helped me tremendously with stress, anxiety, and anger management. She has loads of knowledge, skills, and experience in her work area, but more importantly, she is genuinely empathetic and thoughtful. Anyone would be lucky to have Kessuda as a therapist. She is a diamond.

    Frequently asked questions

    • I create space for you to help them feel safe, relax, and peaceful. Then introduce mindfulness practice immediately and use it in every session to help my customers to be grounded and get in touch with themselves.

    • Then ask helpful questions that allow them to feel safe for sharing and to accept whatever arises at the moment.

    • I fully listen and ask powerful questions to inquiry the issue to help clients explore their own needs, (provide information about the needs that relate with their feelings) then moving the blocks, and to help them gain clarity and finding healthy actions to deal with the issues.

    • Depending on the client’s personality, preferences, and needs, I ask a power question. I use MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) and MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) or any of a wide variety of other tools and techniques to facilitate their discovery process.

    • Gradually, the client identifies specific issues they wish to address and I give them exercises to try in their daily life, so they can mindfully self-observe and learn through practice.

    • Each client is unique. At all times, I let them set the pace and have a say in how they would like to proceed (but I will encourage them to push beyond their comfort zone if they feel ready).

One of my clients was dealing with anxiety, depression, and shame. I had been meeting with her once a week for a few months. She developed the skills to deal with these emotions better, reduce the frequency, and take healthy actions instead of letting these emotions control her day.

The amount of experience is the most important quality to consider when choosing a professional. Find a "Walks the walk" counselor or therapist; it is essential.
