Matt Whitehead has a BS in Exercise Science and has been a certifed Posture Alignment Specialist, Advanced Exercise Therapist, and Personal Trainer for over a decade and worked with thousands of clients. Matt taught courses for Egoscue University for 9 years helping Physical Therapists, Doctors, Chiropractors, and Personal Trainers learn how to utilize Posture Alignment Therapy in their practices to improve their results with those in chronic pain and athletes.
Matt was a college cross-country runner who suffered through years of running injuries that no-one could explain or help him overcome. When Matt discovered Egoscue or Posture Alignment Therapy he learned why he hurt and how to get pain free. Posture Alignment Therapy allowed Matt to return to running Pain Free and he's been helping others become pain free ever since.
I have worked with thousands of people over the last 16 years including professional and recreational athletes (football, basketball, hockey, tennis, cycling, martial arts, baseball, running, etc.), people with chronic pain (hip, back, knee, shoulder, foot, wrist, etc.), and everyone in between. I specialize in helping people who have pain or injuries that are interfering with them living an active life and are motivated to do something to get better.
Hearing success stories like this one from Joni make me love my job: "It is amazing! I've been in pain for 5 years and worked with other therapists and no one has been able to help me. Working with you I am 95% pain free! It feels so good to not have any pain and be able to walk and do things I haven't been able to do for years. Thank you so much!"
If the someone can't explain why you hurt, what is underlying cause of the problem, and how you can become pain free, they might not be the right person for you. Look for a professional that is living a pain free and active life like you desire because that can show you it is possible and they can help you get there.
Do I want a professional who will help me treat my pain?
Or do I want a professional who will help me fix the underlying cause of my pain?
In other words, do I want a treatment or a cure?
