I don’t own my own business but I would like to get hired at a treatment center close to me. My sobriety date is October 30 2016. I was drug addicted and I was a prostitute and I have the background to be able to help people. I have my credentials as a cdca preliminary and I am going to take it further and further. This is my passion. I have worked many jobs as a server a bartender and cashier but this is my passion. I will give my all to my job. It means the world to me. With my background I would notice if someone was struggling and I could talk to them as an equal. I know it is important not over identity but I know that they would hear me out. I’m very ready for this and have waited so long to be able to do this. I hope this catches someone’s eye because I will love every second of my job. Thank you

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like ya all to introduce ourselves and become comfortable in group atmosphere and talk about why we got here. Talk about problems they may be having at home let the group relate to each other and give healthy feedback

How did you get started in this business?
I have been in recovery quite a while and I want to give back. Too many people are losing their lives to this and I really want to do my part.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always reach out before you pick up a drug, even if your mind is made up pick up the phone and call.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They should just list their needs no need to question themselves
