About
In a private practice with a small caseload, quality, in-depth individual therapy can be given. With experience in both an agency and private practice, I have treated clients with many different disorders and concerns.
As a former teacher, I incorporate mental health education into therapy because I think knowledge is power.
I have many mental health connections in the community and nearby cities, to be offered as supplemental resources to clients, to ensure all of their needs are being met.
My passion is working with adult survivors of abuse. I also specialize in treating trauma and am currently pursuing my PhD in crisis and trauma therapy.
You can find me on Psychology Today as well as my website: jareedcounseling.com
It is my calling to help others. I love empowering people and watching them make changes that bring them peace and happiness.
