About
Elizabeth (Beth) earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Portland State University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. Beth enjoys meeting her clients “where they are” and walking alongside them on their journey. To do this, Beth employs an integrated approach to counseling, engaging her clients in Interpersonal Therapy and offering Cognitive Behavioral Strategies and Solution Focused therapy to assist each client in an individual way. In addition, Beth is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional-I, registered thru the International Association of Trauma Professionals and is trained in EMDR and CPT therapies.
Beth enjoys working with a diverse clientele of adults, teens, and children struggling with issues including, but not limited to: anxiety, grief, self-esteem issues, social skills, trauma, and eating disorders. She is open to individual and family sessions.
When she is not purusing her passion of helping others, she enjoys spending time with her husband, sons and daughters-in-law. She also practices self-care by staying active and learning a variety of martial arts skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually do an intake session where my client shares their story and we work to get a clear picture of the issue. Then we are off and running to help the client achieve their goals! I like to think that I am an ally who walks besides you, making sure you accomolish what you desire from therapy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's of Science in Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Therapist. In addition I am am a trained trauma therapist in EMDR, CPT, and PE. I am currently working on certifications in EMDR and CPT.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My intake session is $70. My individual sessions are $50-60, depending on individual agreements with clients. I do not bill insurances, or Medicare/Medicaid.
How did you get started in this business?
I volunteered for an international non profit as a Board Member for over 16 years. During that time, I found myself counseling and supporting our families and I grew to love the work I was doing. That experience led me to return to college and attain my Master;s in Counseling
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with children and adults from age 5-65. I have worked with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I have worked on anger management, and communication skills. I love heloing a variety of clients meet their goals.
