About
Welcome to The Dreaming Tree Counseling Center "Where Dreams Become Realities." We believe you have your own, unique story to tell and that you deserve caring and respect when coming to see us for help with your issues and concerns. We create a safe, inviting space where you can bring all of who you are. Navigating through life can distressing at times, not to mention overwhelming. We at The Dreaming Tree understand, respect, and are able to guide you through difficult times as well as celebrate your successes with you.
Our services include Couples/Relationship Counseling, our SAP program, Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, treatment for anxiety and depression, as well as anger management and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) education. Our AOD education program offers education from 4 hours up to 24 hours. We also offer a non-intensive outpatient treatment program.

Welcome to my practice! In addition to being a native Ohioan, I am proud to be an alum of both St. Ignatius High School (Cleveland) and John Carroll University (JCU. ) After I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University, I also received post-graduate training from The Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington in Clinical Hypnosis. I also received post-graduate training from The Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and I am a Level 2 trained Gottman-Method Couples/Marriage Counselor.
It is an honor to have been able to serve clients throughout the Ohio region since I became a State Licensed Clinical Counselor in 2011. I am also grateful to be a frequent regional presenter for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD.)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session with a new client or couple involves a warm welcome to the practice, signing some initial paperwork, and an initial assessment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board (Ohio CSWMFT Licensing Board). I am also a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (OCDP Board Ohio). Through the National Anger Management Association (NAMA), I am a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II). In addition, I am an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor by the International Certification and Reciprocity Board (IC&RC) and I am a fully-qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP.) I have specific training in couples/marital counseling (Gottman Method), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Clinical Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy. I have also been clinically trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
