How did you get started in this business?
Always found myself to be great listener and coordinator of life and feelings. Started out in a faith based program helping men in recovery and the formerly incarcerated. I have worked in both faith based and non faith based environments with men, woman, children, couples, those in addiction and almost any issue you can think of. Ultimately, I just love to help lead people to healing and walking in the truth.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Men, woman, children, couples, those in addiction and almost any issue you can think of. Most of my clients feel comfortable right away working with me. For me the most important part of the process is the relationship.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at the whole picture and not just that they are on your insurance. You want to make sure the person is not only good at what they do but that they love what they do. If this is a habit or a job and you get the sense that either the person feels that you are a client before a person or they seem to give off that they believe they are better than you then move on and keep searching. If you don't feel heard, are challenged, and feel safe then they are not for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How can you help me. I look at every individual differently. God made each of us unique so although you may have a similar problem to another it does not mean your journey to healing is the same. The same way you got to where you are differently, is the same way you may need to get out.
