About
I want my clients to feel safe and supported and know that each time we meet, they will be heard. So much of what we all want comes back to the desire to be understood and to feel confident in ourselves. In order to do that, we have to understand and trust ourselves. My goal is to provide space to uncover and explore true thoughts and feelings, free of judgment. Through this honesty, my clients can then begin to reflect on patterns of behavior and thought that are no longer serving them.
I have been providing therapeutic services for over 40 years. I can say that, at this point, nothing comes as a surprise to me! Over the years, the main focuses has been substance abuse/addiction services, anxiety, and depression. Included are Individual/ Family and Couples work. This experience has provided me with the groundwork for understanding the multiple layers in which we all exist. Addictions, maladaptive behaviors, poor relationships, anxiety/depression are but a few of the issues that brought clients to my office.
