About

We specialize in treating "co-occuring" (i.e. PTSD and drug addiction) disorders on an outpatient basis as I and each member of my clinical team hold licenses as Clinical Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Addictions Counselors. At ROI we believe that investing in yourself is the smartest investment you could ever make and if you are ready to invest, we are too!

What lights our professional fires the most is to see our Clients reach their goals and go forth to live their best lives. Whether that means staying sober, reconnecting with those they love and thought were lost, managing their stress more effectively, taking their power back or setting bigger goals for themselves without fear of failure what we dig the very most is seeing our Clients succeed in whatever they set out to accomplish in life.

    Frequently asked questions

The typical process for becoming a new Client of ROI is to make contact with our main offices and schedule your first appointment with us. Once initial contact is made we are able to determine what should be scheduled, payment options for services, applicable intake paperwork, etc.

All clinical team members of ROI hold a minimum of two active state and/or national licenses to practice as any of the following forms of practitioners. Additionally, all clinical team members specialize in co-occurring treatment (two or more disorders) enabling clinical staff to treat the enitre person in one setting, not just part of their presenting situation.

    Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPC/LCPC)

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT/MFT)

Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC)

Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC)

    Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC)

    Substance Use Professional (SAP)

Services varry in both type and cost and are dependant on payment source (i.e. private pay VS. insurance) to be applied. Sliding fee scales are available to those who qualify. Contacting our main offices is the first step in determining both eligibility and applicable payment type for services.

ROI Counseling's Owner and Clinical Director, Amber Tarlton, believes that the best investment one can make in life is an investment in personal growth and development. She also believes that those who need help the most unfortunately often never get access to the help they need. She has been practicing in both residential and outpatient settings for nearly twenty years and launched ROI in 2015 to better assist those in her community who were in need of quality treatment and educational services and to assist those who are ready to help themselves.

ROI Counseling works with a wide variety of individuals, families and community partners regarding mental health, behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. Whether the person(s) in question are in need of individualized services as voluntary Clients or they are under some form of mandatory monitoring (i.e. Parole, CPS, etc.) ROI aims to service any individual or family in need of outpatient treatment services regardless of current circumstances.

The ROI Foundation has recently launched our second-hand store! 100% of all sale proceeds enables ROI to help those who are truly most in need within our community a little bit more and we are quite excited to see where our store takes us this year and beyond.

We truly can't express enough how wise an investment it is to invest in yourself. If you are ready to work on you ask yourself what you ultimately want to achieve and what you are willing to do to get there. Knowing what you want and what you are willing to do to get there will give you a foundation to build on in treatment and it will give whoever you choose to work with a solid place to start.

The number one question before starting services of any kind should be, "What are my preferences for treatment?" Ask yourself what your wants and needs are for services and never be afraid to ask questions of the pros you speak to. Investing wisely comes with a lot of questions!
