Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally the client and I will have a conversation to gather general information. They will receive an online intake through the email they provided, which will be discussed in their first appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Matt is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 80 hours of training in DBT. He specializes in relationship counseling and behavior work.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Sessions start at 175, on a sliding scale. If you were hoping for a different price, I would love to talk to you about your options!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Try people out. Not every therapist is a good fit for everyone. My job is to work myself out of one. Look for someone you connect with and makes the process work your time.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are your needs, What have you tried before, and, what are your expectations of a therapist, are all good questions to consider before you start your journey. When you are upfront about that, the process of selecting a therapist can be much easier.
