About
Welcome! My practice is one of warmth, non-judgement, and compassion. With a Master's degree in Counseling and an EdS in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have over 20 years of experience with various mental health and substance use issues. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the State of NJ. Primarily I work with couples and individuals experiencing anxiety and depression. I look forward to working with you.
I am absolutely passionate about the work I do. I have a love for learning and pursue knowledge on a daily basis. Seeing individuals transform their thoughts and behaviors into more effective patterns is very rewarding. Working with couples is even more rewarding, seeing individuals come together after years of conflict, poor communication, and loss of trust.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally take 3 or 4 sessions to get to know someone. It's difficult to develop a treatment plan before I truly understand a person's background and goals for treatment. Sometimes people like to get straight to the point and are very goal-oriented. Other times, people don't really know what they want from treatment. They just know they want to change but they're not sure where to begin. It's a very individualized process.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Children, adolescents, adults, couples, families. Anxiety, Depression, self-esteem issues, communication skills, building trust, improving intimacy. I am also licensed to treat substance use disorders.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a therapist you feel comfortable with. Without a good therapeutic relationship, no progress will be made in treatment.
