About
When my clients start a session, I ask them to tell me everything I need to know to help them. I never take notes because I want to give them my undivided attention. I have an uncanny ability to listen and remember everything during a session which serves me well as a therapist. My mind like a filing cabinet! I am taking new clients. I see most of my clients in person. I still offer facetime or phone if that works for you.
I want to help my clients in the same that therapy helped me when I was in a difficult situation. It gives me great satisfaction to know that I'm giving back. I know therapy works as I'm living proof.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In my first session it’s all about making new client feel comfortable. I gather as much information as I possibly can and assess our compatibility. Are we a good fit? Will we work well together?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in counseling from Seton Hall University.
I earned my Eds degree in Marriage and Family counseling from Seton Hall University.
I am licensed by the State of New Jersey
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My fee is $135 per session but I consider and accommodate my clients' financial situation.
I do not accept insurance but I provide my clients with a complete statement to submit to their insurance companies.
How did you get started in this business?
I had never gone to a therapist but my life changed in 1985. I had the most amazing therapist who turned my life around. I thought if I could help just one other person like she helped me, I would pay it forward. That was the start of my passion for this field... I went back to school, earned my Masters, and an Ed.S degree, and then passed the State of New Jersey license... The Rest is History!!!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with so many clients with different types of issues including Grief Counseling Caretakers, PTSD Separation/Divorce, Anxiety, Depression, Bi-Polar and schizophrenia disorders and so much more. I work with adults of all ages, kids, couples, families and any new situation where I can provide help.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Meet with your potential therapist and see if it's a good fit for you. It's essential to feel comfortable and safe for therapy to work. It's okay to shop around until you find the right therapist for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Clients should consder if they are ready to be completely to share personal information in a session, and realize that there is no jugement in anything they are willing to share.
The most important thing in my opinion is to make a good theraputic relationship whith who evver you go,to see. You should be comfortable enough to say what ever you choose to. Everyhing that is said to a therapist is confidential.
