About
I posses strong interpersonal skills to help establish rapport quickly with clients and develop strong relationships. By given my undivided attention to clients and be able to cultivate trust. Able to place all of my focus on the client and making sure to provide the best and most necessary help and make them stronger!
· It does not feel like a job. It feels like a calling or at the very least something that gives me a great sense of purpose. No matter how good I might have been at making things or solving other kinds of problems, being a psychologist who primarily does therapy says more about who I am than what I do. It fits me like a tailored jacket.
· I like being around people being real. Being with people who want to work on changing things in their life, figuring out their problems, or healing from trauma is as real as it gets. Since I am an introvert, I am more comfortable with depth in conversation than small talk, so I love that my job is more about having deep conversations than trying to maintain small talk conversations.
· I like being a part of something positive. When someone comes in and wants to improve, heal, change, or learn more about something, it feels good to be a part of that.
