About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience. I have experience with a variety of ages and populations. I am passionate about working with women, ages 18-45. My philosophy is that one size doesn’t fit all, so each of my treatment plans are custom made. Theoretically, I come from an eclectic, integrative approach. I am also an education and career consultant as well as an Executive Coach. My breadth of clinical and life experience contributes to my ability to relate to others and help them through their journey.
I believe we all have a mission in life. My mission is to help others by showing them light in the darkness, teach them better ways to cope, and different ways to think. I have never felt that work is “work.” I am enthusiastic about listening and learning from each new client I meet. If I can make an impact, big or small, on someone’s life for the better, I feel joy and success.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each individual has a unique set of life experiences, cultural influences, aptitudes, personality styles, and termperaments. I do not believe one size fits all. I listen intently to each individual's story, try to put myself in their shoes, and understand their feelings. I work collaboratively with each client to create a set of goals they would like to accomplish to improve their life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years of expeience as a doctoral clinical psychologist. My graduate work in Berkeley, California prepared me with a broad perspective and open mind to different cultures. I have specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, adolescence, womens' issues, parenting, organizational psychology, psychology in the workplace, college students, educational settings, anxiety, relationship issues, divorce issies, and autism spectrum disorder.
I believe that education never stops. I continue to educate myself about new techniques, approaches, and cultural trends via webinars, reading, and attending continuting education workshops.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The client's insurance determines the price of services. For clients who do not have insurance or whose insurance doesn't cover teletherapy, I offer a flat rate per hour.
How did you get started in this business?
I began my educational career at Duke University as a pre-med student majoring in psychology. After working in a variety of internships, I believed my talents and interests were more aligned with helping people in psychological pain than medical pain. I finished college in 3 years and went straight to graduate school at the California School of Professional Psychology. My education and internship experiences in the San Francisco Bay Area fueled my passion to continue practicing psychology in a variety of settings with a variety of populations. I have never looked back and regretted my decision. I love what I do and never feel that what I do is "work." Helping others is my passion and my mission.
