Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If customers and clients are interested in improving their quality of life and decreasing their pain, it all starts with a simple conversation.
The process starts with a simple phone conversation Directly with Our Doctorate Of Physical Therapy.
During the phone call, the client and I will determine if they will qualify for my type of treatment and pain relief.
If the client qualifies for our program, we will set up a time for a full body movement evaluation that will take place either in the clinic in Troy, virtually through a video call, or or I will personally travel to the client's house.
This evaluation is a full 60 minutes directly with our therapist. I will work with the client to identify the root cause of your symptoms and get you on a comprehensive rehabilitation program to help the client move easier, improve their strength, and reach their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University Of Michigan with Bachelor of science in exercise science in 2011. After my undergraduate work, I enrolled in the University Of Michigan's Doctorate Of Physical Therapy Program and graduated with honors in the year of 2015. I currently hold certifications as a personal trainer through The National Strength & Conditioning Association and I am also a certified Mckenzie Practitioner.
As a Mckenzie Practitioner, I help people with neck and lower back pain find rapid solutions to their pain without pain medications, injections, or having to consider sugery.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
In clinic and virtual visit rates: $165/hr
In home rates: $250
There is an option to purchase treatment packages which come with the money back guarantee. This guarantee states that after the 2nd visit, if the client is not 100% satisfied and progressing towards their goals, the client will receive a refund for all visits purchased within that package.
How did you get started in this business?
I began my practice because I saw a need for high quality musculoskeletal care that does not exist in today's current health care climate.
My aim was to deliver expert level pain services, spend a full 60 minutes with every single patients so I could help them solve the root cause of their symptoms as quick as possible.
I began with the purpose of directly working for patients and not insurance companies or big corporations.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have personally worked with neurological patients, patients with back and neck pain, as well as a variety of other clients suffering from a vast array of other orthopedic conditions.
I have personally work with the U.S. Coast Guard, given multiple lectures about injury prevention to the community and to local groups of doctors.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love events within the community of all types. I recently attended a small networking event with alocal pilates studio owner.
A large part of feeling better and staying active and out of pain is movement and exercise, and I enjoy community events that get my clients and I moving and enjoying life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Tell the expert you are looking to hire about your symptoms and the typical prognosis of the certain condition you are dealing with.
Additionally I would ask their opinion about future treatment, patient examples, and what they would do specifically to approach your symtpoms and WHY.
After that I would look at social proof and reviews available on google, youtube, and facebook and look for real patient testimonials and do your research on the clinician you are about to hire.
I would also ask if they offer a 100% money back guarentee. Any expert you are considering, worth their weight in salt will not hesitate to take the financial risk out of hiring them to take care of you and your health.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The #1 question I ask every single one of my clients is "How Dedicating Are You To Getting Better From A Scale Of 0-10"
Anything less than 9 or 10/10, you may want to reconsider yourself, your health goals, and what you want to achieve.
The reason that I started to work "outside of the system" is because I want to help people who are truely looking to solve the root cause of their symptoms.
I am motivated, energetic, and willing to help client find the fastest route to getting out of pain, but if someone doesn't want to get better; typically they will not qualify for my treatment programs.
