About
When I got out of the Airforce, I started working for a large bank. Over the years, I became depressed and addicted to alcohol. I lacked purpose and passion. Ultimately, I sought out therapy and discovered my true potential as a person.
in 2004, I made the decision to pursue my degree in counseling, so that I could make a difference in the lives of those people who are suffering from addictions, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other concerns.
Each person has the capacity to feel better and discover there true potential.
My experience in therapy has enabled me to see that each person is unique and deserves to have there concerns handled with personal care.

What gets me up in the morning and truly a sense that I want to make a difference in lives of people. My passion is to make mental wellness accessible to all and to make it as seamless a process as possible. Therapy doesn't have to be a bad thing. Rather it can be an opportunity to take control over your mental wellness and to honor your uniqueness as a person.

I have a Master's Degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University. In addition, I am also a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work which means that I hold myself to the highest ethical standards in the profession. I workrd at the VA for ten years, so I have gleaned the most effective and cutting edge treatments for a variety of concerns. I have advanced training in EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) which is a highly effective treatment for trauma, anxiety, and a range of other issues.
