About
My clinical experience dates more than fifteen years of working in areas of mental health and substance use disorders with adult individuals, as well as with couples from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. My extensive background working with public institutions and corporate settings helps me understand the challenges face by working professionals.
I love working with clients committed to their emotional growth. I draw great satisfaction from clients achieving their personal goals in therapy. All long, I provide compassionate support on their journeys for greater self-understanding and acceptance.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal as a therapist is to provide a nonjudgmental and supportive healing environment where clients feel safe while engaging in the emotional passage of therapy. Client’s needs are always at the center of any individualized treatment approach. My approach to counseling emphasizes clients’ personal needs with the most effective solutions available to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Johns Hopkins University, School of Education with a Master in Organizational Counseling and with a second specialization in Clinical Community Counseling. I am licensed in the state of Maryland as License Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC # LC3918) and in the District of Columbia as License Professional Counselor (PRC14280). I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) Certification No.: 255865 and a Fellow at the National Anger Management Association (NAMA).
