What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first appointment is really the opportunity for us to get to know one another and to see whether it is a good fit. I ask alot of questions at the first appointment -- and take notes -- to make sure I really understand what you are looking for. At the end of the session I wont know everything, but will let you know if I think I can be helpful. And you will know whether you feel comfortable with my style and expertise.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in clinical psychology and have extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families throughout the lifespan.
In addition to my own work, I have been the clinical director of mental helath programs, and have supervised and trained other therapists.
