What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First appointment: involves relationship building/gathering clients emotional information and signage of required paperwork.
Thereafter: cognitive therapy techniques are used to decrease and eliminate negative behavioral responses to negative emotions and feelings. It may also including basic meditation and mindfulness techniques. Sessions are also open to talk therapy if client desires. If client is seeing me for an herbal consult, they recieve a full herbal product protocol (HPP) outline from me, as well as product gathering and information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors in Psychology, Certified Bioregional Clinical Herbalist, Certified Holistic Nutrition Counselor, Post Graduate Masters Certificate in Mindfulness, Crisis Counseling and Advocacy Certification.

Offering a sliding scale fee between $25.00 to $150.00 per session for herbal consultations and match clients typical copay for mindfulness coaching/therapy.

Founder and owner of Bitter Day Herbals, a small herb shop and wellness center in Western, Massachusetts area.

Make sure the relationship fits your needs. Connection with your counselor/therapist/clinician is an important part of your healing process.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If they are ready to accept their potential flaws and ready to work on those things that are negatively affecting their life.
