About

We all have areas of our lives that we feel are just on that cusp of greatness; we just need a little push getting there. I have a passion for helping my clients come up with a plan, meeting them where they are at, to get where they need to be. Whether is it attaining a work/life balance, making a career transition or transitioning into retirement. I have also worked with high level executives that have needed to find a calm balance between work and personal life that sometimes feels unattainable in that world. My expertise has been working with individuals dealing with high levels of stress focusing on introducing mindfulness practices and relaxation techniques into their lives. We start slow if needed, and build until you feel you can conquer anything. We make a step by step plan based on your time frame, your needs and your comfort level. I work for you.

When stress creeps into our lives so slowly we barely notice, it can make us think we have to give up. It can tip the balance of work/personal/social life and have us feeling like we need to run and change one or all of these areas of our lives. What I love to see is my clients eye opening experiences when they bring mindfulness practices, and other stress reduction techniques into their lives that really only take minutes per day. Sure, some of them do make changes, small, big, etc. But some of them realize that the changes they make with these practices help them manages the external stressors so much that they can go back to their work life, social life, personal life, and not change a thing because they have merely shifted their perspective. Whichever way it happens, that way is your way.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to get to know my clients by discussing their goals for our work together.  If they are having a struggle coming up with some, that's ok!  We can brainstorm because sometimes it is hard to figure out what that goal is, you just know you want change.  Processes are unique to each client.  I like to ask what has worked before for you, what hasn't?  If a client is new to a coaching process we can just work it out as we go but the one thing I do with each client that is the same is we want to discuss our end game.  What is the ultimate end goal?  If you could have ultimate success (different for each client) that you feel you are missing now, how would you tap into the intuition and and attain the skills you need every day that you feel you are missing now?

I do have my Masters in Mental Health Counseling but I like to try not to think of this as counseling as much as coaching.  We can look at this any way you like and if counseling becomes a part of the process, that is just a part of it!
