About

I help women in transitional stages of life manage anxiety, stress and find their true purpose while achieving a calm, peaceful, happy life free of guilt, worry and fear.

With ten years of counseling experience as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) working in various inpatient, outpatient and private practice settings, I've learned that people often know what changes they need to make in their lives, but lack the tools or "know how" to make these changes and stick with them. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, or having difficulties making decisions related to relationships, career or maybe you want to change behavior patterns that you feel hold you back in life, often people just need the support and encouragement from an objective outsider to help sort out their issues and find manageable solutions.

That's what I do best. I help people find their natural strengths and we create a plan for change that is unique to your personality and lifestyle. This allows for longterm success. Just like people have different learning styles, we all have different behavior-change styles too.

If you're tired of letting guilt, fear, worry and frustration run your life and decision-making, contact me! I would love to work with you. I offer in person sessions at my office in Fishers and/or online video sessions.

And here's my Psychology Today profile

Building a healthy, therapuetic relationship with my clients through laughter and tears - that's one of my favorite parts of the work I do. When my clients realize they aren't alone and that whatever problems they face are actually manageable and I see the relief begin to set in - it truly brings me such joy. Being a counselor and coach is a calling for me - not a job. It's something I was called to do early in my life. Connecting with people has always been my forte - all the fancy training in the world can't prepare someone to connect with others - that's something that comes from within. So with my 10 years of counseling experience, combined with my own battles with relationships, anxiety, depression and ADHD PLUS the academic and clinical training - it's the perfect storm! Together, nothing is impossible. I also find it important to share that I have been in lots of helpful therapy myself over the years, so I know what it feels like to sit on both sides of the "couch."

    Frequently asked questions

Please call, text or email me and we will set up your complimentary phone consultation where I can answer any questions and we will decide if we're a good match.

After our phone consultation, we'll schedule your first session. I offer online video sessions and also in-person sessions at my office in Fishers. I'm typically able to schedule clients within one week of our phone consultation as my focus is on high-quality, individualized care and I only work with a limited number of clients at one time.

I graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University (IUPUI) and earned my license to practice independently in the state of Indiana in 2011.

Sessions are $150 for 55 minute session.

I've felt a calling to help others from a very young age. As I struggled through my own journey of healing through therapy and self-discovery, I made a committment to help others going through the same process.

For ten years as a counselor I have worked with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. In the past few years I have devoted my practice to primarily serving women age 25 and over who are experiencing difficult life transitions related to relationships, parenting and career-related issues and the anxiety, fear, worry and guilt that accompanies working through various stages of life.

Make sure you speak with a potential counselor before committing to working with them. You will know quickly if you are a match. You'll feel comfortable and like they really understand what you're going through. It should feel like talking to a friend who "totally gets it!" The relationship building and trust is necessary to make real progress.

Asking yourself if you are truly committed to a solution and a positive outcome. If so, pick the person you feel connected with and who seems to value similar things in life and don't be afraid to invest in yourself and the outcome you desire. You are worth it!
