About this pro

Mental health is the cornerstone to healthy, rewarding relationships and well-being.  It is my privilege to assist individuals and families on the road to self understanding, growth, and fulfillment. Life is complex and when we face challenges, having support while we explore our emotional and mental worlds can have a profoundly healing effect.

I have an interest in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma and abuse, are experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or mood disorders, adoptees, individuals who identify as LGBTQ, and teens who are experiencing academic and emotional difficulty due to high-functioning ASD, anxiety and depression.

I am open and accepting of all lifestyles and beliefs, and provide a safe and supportive space for our work together.

My elementary-aged daughter absolutely loves coming to HHHH for therapy. The sessions are play-based, which sets the tone for a safe space to share feelings. Appointment scheduling is easy and flexible, which is convenient for school schedules and other after-school activities. As a parent I appreciate that I can communicate with my daughter’s therapist vía e-mail while keeping the therapy sessions mainly between my daughter and her therapist. Occasionally we will all three meet together to touch base on mutual concerns. We look forward to therapy days, and we feel so fortunate to have found Healing Your Hidden Hurts.

I love that Amy tries to remove any elements of potential shame about a sensitive topic. I feel comfortable talking to her she provides fantastic guidance as appropriate. She listens and casts no judgement.

Amy is a warm, caring, understanding counselor for my kids that see her. She has been so very helpful to us as we navigate some difficult times. I Highly recommend her!
