About

I have been a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois since 2014 and decided it was time to work for myself in 2017 when I established RZ Consulting LLC. I have a passion for helping people figure out how to live their best lives! I have ten years experience in social services, and six years working with people facing difficult life transitions related to chronic and terminal illnesses. My focus during treatment is to help people cope with stressors such as depression, anxiety, and various traumas.

I enjoy helping people problem-solve and work-though problems that affect their day-to-day functioning. I will work with you to figure out how to better manage those "little things" that sometimes turn into bigger, more overwhelming things which can start to impact quality of life. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals!

Frequently asked questions

If you are interested in finding out more about ways in which I might be able to help you, please reach out to me via call or text and we will go from there!

I have my Master of Social Work degree, and am currently a sixth year Doctor of Social Work candidate working on my dissertation through Aurora University. I have been a licensed social worker in the state of Illinois since 2009, and a clinicial social worker since 2014. Per state requirements, I also keep up-to-date with continuing education for at least 30 hours every two years.

Yes. I have contracted rates with many insurance carriers in addition to out-of-pocket pricing if you do not have insurance. Please reach out to me if you would like additional information!

I have always had a passion for helping people, and in 2017 I was ready to branch out on my own!

My primary work experience has been with adults and older adults, but I have some experience working with adolescents as well. Most of my work is helping people cope with various life transitions and develop ways to better care for themselves to feel fulfilled in life!

Ask questions! It is OK to ask anyone questions you have before "signing up" with them. I believe you should feel comfortable with any service for which you are signing up, and I do not take offense when people want to get to know more about me and my style before scheduling an appointment. The other thing I encourage you to remember is that when you ask questions, that is all you are doing; asking questions or finding out additional information does not mean you have to choose that particular person or company. You need to find the fit that is right for you!
