About

RTP is an independently owned outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy clinic. We specialize in one on one care. After seperating from one of the larger chains in the area, I created a clinic that brings physical therapy back to the basics. Our therapists are scheduled at one patient per hour so that everyone has time and attention directly spent with their therapist. Gone is the day where a patient is just given a list of exercises to do and only sees their physical therapist for 5 mins to give them an update of how everything went. The entire point of Physical therapy is to be prescribed a series of exercises or movements that aid in the recovery of an injury which are directly supervised by a licensed practioner to ensure the movements are done correctly. That is what we believe physical therapy is and how it should be practiced.

Frequently asked questions

We have two ways a patient can come to us for Physical Therapy.

First, a patient has an injury then goes to their doctor who prescibes physical therapy to help them eleviate the pain an dysfuction related to an injury they had.  Then the patient has a choice once they have the prescription in hand to go to any Physical Therapy clinic they want to.  Even if the doctor recommends a certain one over another.. The patient always has a choice.

Second,

RTP also does free injury screens.  Say you have a pain you have been dealing with and are not sure what to do.  You can make an appointment at RTP to speak with one of our therapists about your injury and what your options are to put you on the right path to feeling better.  Even if that path does not include physical therapy at some point.

All of our Physical Therapists have graduated from an accredited physical therapy program and have their degree in Physical Therapy.  They are also Licensed by the State of Illinois.
