What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our fees are mostly based on a fixed fee schedule, except for pre-litigation and litigation. We offer a free initial consultation to better understand the scope of the project and determine how we can best assist. We work virtually with most of our clients via email and telephone, but are always happy to meet in person if you prefer. We require pre-payment for all projects via credit card.

I am an intellectual property attorney with a specific focus on trademark, copyright and advertising law. Over the past 15 years as a lawyer, I’ve helped companies of all sizes from start-ups to multi-national corporations identify, register, and protect their brands in the U.S. and more than 150 countries worldwide ensure they have the competitive advantage that helps them succeed. I am been recognized by my peers as a Super Lawyer® for my outstanding knowledge and services in intellectual property law, a recognition and honor given to just 5% of the lawyers in Illinois.

Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked for more than ten years as a marketing manager and advertising director for multi-national consumer packaged goods companies, which provides a unique insight into my clients' businesses and allows me to understand the business-based legal solutions you need.
