About

I believe I am one-of-a-kind. I use a combination of healing arts techniques to help my clients achieve the maximum in stress and tension relief, plus, a better sense of self, more calm and peace. I have been teaching for over 25 years and my feedback is exceptional. My technique has been developed over years of learning from dedicated master teachers and practicing many different techniques on myself and then passing them on to my clients to see what works best FOR THEM. We are all different and this is not one-size-fits all. It's always an exploration. Breathing techniques are the cornerstone of my teachings, along with moving meditation, and movement of energy that is palpable. No one leaves a session with me without results.

It helped me when I needed it and I see it help my clients on a daily basis. I love sharing my work with the strangers I meet. Then they are no longer strangers! Even in a quick encounter I typically see, feel and hear others respond in an enthusiastic manner. A simple exercise I share with someone in a matter of minutes has appreciable results and is easily duplicated at home or in stressful situations. A smile, a laugh and the look on someone's face when they feel results is my biggest reward.

Frequently asked questions

To begin the process with a new client they typically contact me and we arrange for a free 15 minute telephone or video chat consultation.

Once we have consulted, and decided that we would like to work together, we make our first appointment.

I send them an intake form. The intake form is basic contact information and discusses any concerns, challenges and issues the client is having.

The initial appointment takes 1  1/2 hours.

We go over the intake form and discuss the direction the client would like to go.

Working from the initial consultation and  the intake form I gather together meditation, Reiki, and Qigong exercises, and other healing ideas and input on how to address the clients concerns.

As we move along in our first session I adjust where I feel it’s needed and address the direction the session is going.

Nothing is written completely in stone and I utilize a "go with the flow" mindset.

After the initial session we can either set up the following session, or multiple sessions. Those sessions can be weekly, biweekly, monthly or quarterly.

A client can elect to end our sessions after a completed session, if so desired, or to continue with more sessions. That is up to the client. I certainly will make recommendations but all-in-all these sessions are to get the client to a place they have addressed their concerns and can work on their own.

I do not use diagnoses or prescribe any supplements, herbal medications or other modalities. I make suggestions, but the direction a client goes is totally up to them.

I expect a client to do work on their own to continue to enhance the work that we do together.

There is no treading water, there’s only forward movement.

I have trained and/or certified with master teachers such as Yogi Bhajan, Hari Nam Singh and Deva Kaur in Kundalini yoga, Master John Munro from Long White Cloud Qigong, davidji formerly of the Chopra Center (I attended his teacher training and taught meditation breath to his students) The Centers for Spiritual Living, Rev. Irma Oestman - meditation teacher and minister in Science of Mind,  the New York State Meditation Society, the former director of BuddhistHealing.com. I have been a meditation instructor for over 25 years and a master teacher for over 20.

My introductory 1 1/2 hour session is $75 via Skype, Zoom or another video chat.

Pricing depends on the number of sessions booked.

The more sessions, the better value.

Single sessions are $65 per hour,  $80 per 90 minute session, and $95 per two hour session.

$115 for two 1 hour sessions.

$145 for two 90 minute sessions.

$175 for two 2 hour sessions.

The cost gets better with more sessions!

I was a full-time performer and to keep myself as well adjusted as possible I pursued meditation. I loved it and had immediate results.

I shared my experiences with others  and taught them what I was learning.

I have extensive teaching experience in entertainment and I was encouraged by friends, family and acquaintances to teach.

I began teacher training classes, certified and HERE I AM!

I LOVE teaching teens. I taught at a high school in an economically challenged town and the teens had very little. It appeared they had issues at home, with other students in the school, and with students from other schools.  I did my best to let them know I was not there to judge them. I was there to help them relax, to be better students, do better in school and find their passions. Comfort was key!! I actually have some video of the class. At first, most of them were self-conscious but it didn't take long for them to smile, laugh and BREATHE!

Make that initial connection and interview them!  Get a feel for their personality, training, expertise, style and character.  It's essential to connect with several different teachers to find one or more, who really resonate with you. This work can be delicate so finding someone that you can trust to get out of your comfort zone where a lot of the healing happens. If you feel rushed, like you are not being heard or listened to, if there is a hard sell, and if the teacher does their best to impress you, you may want to look elsewhere.  It's not about WHO our clients are, it is about WHAT we can do for them with our talents and experience.

What do I want to achieve?

How deep am I willing to go?

Am I ready to examine my challenges with an open mind to help myself?

What works for me?

What doesn't work for me?

Will learning meditation be beneficial even if I am not experiencing any major issues in my life?

(We look for help when things aren't going well. However, this works well when things ARE going right. It enhances us.)

What's in a hot dog? (Kidding...no one really knows that.)
