About
I, Noel Neu, MS, LMHC, am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Florida. I earned my Masters degree from Nova Southeastern University in Mental Health Counseling in 2003, and, prior to that, I earned my Bachelors degree in the field of Building Construction from The University of Florida in 1992.
After completing a career in construction management, and embarking on a personal journey to enhance my life by discovering my calling, I set out to engage in a life of helping others find their path to improving their lives.
Since 2000, I have gained extensive experience working with adults and adolescents in treating addiction, codependency and behavioral issues, with a special focus on helping men, women, and teens improve their communication skills and enhance their ability to set and achieve attainable goals in their lives. During my time in the field of mental health I have worked as a residential and outpatient substance abuse counselor at Comprehensive Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs, I have served as a mental health technician at Sandy Pines child/adolescent psychiatric facility, and I have been an active volunteer for the Mental Health Association and Center for Information and Crisis Services in Palm Beach County.
Helping people find their truth in who they are and develop the skills to meet the challenges that their current situation is presenting to them. This includes overcoming fear, becoming free from obsessive thinking and behaviors, building self-esteem and being more confident in their communication with others including significant others and family members.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with a client in an individual, couples, or family session assessing and allowing them to feel comfortable to share the presenting issue to develop connection and rapport.

18 years of working in the mental health and recovery field with adults and adolescents.

My fee in $150 for the full hour session. I provide a sliding scale when needed and give a receipt for client to submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement directly back to them if needed.

Doing the work myself to heal and learn how to help others to heal through service.
What types of customers have you worked with?
People that reach out and need help to build their sense of self to walk through current challenges in their lives.
Clients I have worked with range from ages 11 to 82 years old.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Feel comfortable with the prospective therapist that will challenge you while validating and empathizing with where you are currently at in your life to connect with how you feel.
