About

My practice focuses on providing Christian Counseling to couples and adults. All services are provided online only (teletherapy) which allows you to meet in the safety and convenience of your home. We empower individuals, couples and families address relationship crises such as escalating couple conflict; family breakdown in communication; pre and post-divorce issues; unique family dynamics when the couple has children from prior relationships; and the role that trauma often plays in getting stuck and staying stuck in relationship destroying behaviors.

I enjoy working with adults and couples that are motivated to change. I also find it rewarding when I can provide support through life defining moments. There is nothing more meaningful in life than to have the experience of walking beside someone who is navigating the acceptance process and is working through something painful. It fulfils my sense of purpose when I have joined someone’s journey and growth process and they emerge on the other side of their struggle wiser, clearer, and more balanced. It’s truly the bomb.com when therapy participants have gained new perspectives; new relationship skills;, updated emotional tools; and renewed commitment to spiritual health. In such instances, there are moments throughout the therapy encounter that signal that our meeting was divinely ordained and mutually purposeful.

    Frequently asked questions

Step 1:  We schedule a consultation session for 1 hour.  The goal is to get to know each other and to decide if we feel that "fit" is one that makes us both feel that working together is hopeful and helpful.

Step 2:  Intake consents and assessments for anxiety, depression, and trauma are completed online through our customer portal.  The process takes 30 minutes tops.

Step 3:  Either myself or a staff therapist will complete a 90 minute intake to review docs and complete a treatment plan.

Step 4:  Therapy sessions are up to 60 minutes and are paid for using CashApp, Venmo, or Paypal.  Sessions can also be charged through the customer portal using a debit card or credit card.

Step 5: The duration of therapy is on average twelve sessions maximum.   If the presenting challenges are not stabilized, I recommend meeting weekly and move to every other week.  Near the end of therapy, we revisit the anxiety, depression, and one of the trauma screens to see if progress has been made.
