Dr. Cecilia Crawford
About
I have 40+ years of experience with a wide variety of people of different ages, cultures, Circumstances and lifestyles. I respect our differences, but also understand our similar needs and desires as human beings. I use a wide variety of approaches and methods to develop trusting relationships and teach people knowledge, skills, and practicing of healthy habits they can use to be happier and move forward toward the goals in their lives !
I do this with humor, humility, positivity and genuine caring that comes through in my interactions with people on a daily basis.
I genuinely like people, and I enjoy learning and growing myself, including through my interactions and work with others. It helps me stay energized and enthusiastic to see the efforts and progress people are able to make in their lives, and to be part of it is an adventure and an honor. I believe that as we move (and struggle !) through our lives that positive energy is available and a powerful agent of change and goal attainment for each of us, and all of us (and the world)- It is to be shared every day - and this is what I learn about and get to do through psychology every day ! !

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Two examples: In the past week, I had a 19 year old young man reach out to me on his own on a similar site to Thervo for therapy for help with his issues which sound common to most of us in these trying times; and I had a conversation with a teenager (after a therapy session) about learning and discussing current religion/ spirituality related to scientific progress ! I feel inspired and hopeful for all of us !
