About
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 40 years, I have worked with clients spanning across every major stage of the lifecycle. I began my career as a family therapist treating mainly children and adolescents. Now, I work mostly with adults and seniors, helping them to cope with the challenges of everyday life. Together, I will help you explore the difficulties you have experienced in your past, so that you can better understand how to use the insights gleaned from those experiences to lead a more fulfilling life in the present.
I employ a variety of therapeutic strategies including: cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, the 12 step outline for codependency,and grief counseling. I am experienced, warm, empathic, and flexible. I encourage mindfulness training and other healthy ways to cope with anxiety, depression, and stress.
My office equipped to provide the finest care in a tele health (video) services. I use an encrypted platform that is HIPAA compliant to ensure complete confidentiality. Through tele health, you can have two way communication via online virtual sessions, and you can be treated at a place and time that is convenient to you.
I enjoy working with my clients to help them grow emotionally and meet their goals. I enjoy working with deployed military, around the world, to help them and their spouses adjust to their unique challenges.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the assessment phase, we work on establishing goals, and obstacles to achieving those goals. We then work on developing mindfulness practices and specific techniques to create a toolbox of strategies to deal with challenges in your life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters in social work, and many years of experiences in various settings including university, clinics, private practice and tele health.

I charge $100 per session. I accept insurance assignment. I have a flexible sliding scale for those in need.
How did you get started in this business?
Even in my HS yearbook I said I wanted to be a psychologist. I gusee I always had a passion for helping others.
