I am an experienced counselor with tools that can truly effect change! I am solution-focused and skills based so you will always leave the session with a summary and tools you can implement immediately.
I specialize with children, adolescents, young adults, and families struggling with ADHD, behavior issues, Autism Spectrum issues, social skill deficits, depression, anxiety, educational advocacy, and learning concerns. I also have a special interest in helping people create happiness.
I have worked in the full continuum of care- inpatient, PHP day treatment, and outpatient. I have been in a private practice setting for 20 years.
I am licensed as a mental health counselor and supervisor in FL and IL. I hold 3 national certifications for counseling and I am certified in telehealth counseling.
I love helping people and teaching them how to feel happier!
I love working with difficult situations and kids that will not listen, are not thriving, or will not do what is needed to make them successful. Everyone can use additional skills to become the best version of themselves.
A family may need a behavior plan, anger plan, coping plan, sibling conflict plan, morning ir evening checklist, communication phrases, or emotional and social skills training.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Email me your contact information and we can chat briefly about your concerns. I can tell you how I would support your situation and give you tools to create relief and increase your joy.
Next, we schedule an evaluation either in person in Naples, Marathon Key, or via a telehealth platform.
After the evaluation, you will leave with formal recommendations and you can decide if you want to return for future sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a 4.0/4.0 GPA with a Master's degree in Counseling. I am a board certified licensed mental health counselor (LMHC/LCPC) in 2 states (FL/TX) and I completed additional training to be credentialed to supervise mental health interns. I worked hard to complete additional training and obtained additional certifications: NCC: National Certified Counselor, CCMHC:Certifued Clinical Mental Health (NCC subspecialty), CART: Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, and most recently CTMH:Certified Telehealth Mental Health Professional.
I have been in practice for 23 years and have a plethora of skills, tools, and tips to solve problems and teach you skills to feel happier and become the best version of yourself!

$175 for an evaluation ~1.5 hours
$125-$140 per session thereafter
$125 Group -1.5 hours with private debrief, curriculum, and handouts to use at home
$125 reduced rate for individuals with spectrum disorders, teachers, police officers, (and humans that do servicework to help others).

I love working with people who struggle with ADHD, spectrum issues, academic challenges, educational advocacy, social skills struggles and emotional regulation/anger management. I also work with adults with depression in transition points in their lives.
