About

I am a registered mental health care provider in the state of Florida, eager to provide you with compassionate, professional care as you navigate the pain that has prompted your search for a counselor. I work primarily in the realms of relationship struggles, trauma recovery, depression, dissociation, and adapting to change. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and flexible according to your goals and needs.

I believe that deep healing and change are possible. This belief is rooted in personal experience, professional observations, and my faith. It is a privilege and a joy to be given a front-row seat in my clients' lives, to witness and to facilitate the hard-won and yet surprising growth that can come through the counseling process.

    Frequently asked questions

The first step is to set up a 10-15 minute phone consultation. This gives me a chance to hear a little bit about what you're dealing with, and gives you a chance to see if I feel like a good fit to you. After that, I will send you intake paperwork to complete, and we will get you scheduled!

My average price is $90 for a 50 minute counseling session. However, I also use a sliding scale system designed to promote accessibility of mental health resources to people from all socioeconomic backgrounds.

I received counseling myself as a client for years before I ever considered entering the field professionally. The healing and freedom I experienced personally planted the desire in me to help make that kind of care more broadly accessible to others!

I work primarily with women, ages 18-70, who are recovering from traumatic experiences or relationships, who want to find their own voices and take ownership of their own choices, who are walking through a grief process or battling anxiety, depression, or inner conflict. Some clients come in with specific goals; others just know that something is wrong and need help defining the way forwards. All are welcome!

Counseling is such a personal process that it really makes a difference whether you feel comfortable, understood, and respected by your counselor. I would encourage potential clients to use that initial phone call to get a sense for whether you feel comfortable working together. If you can't tell yet, I would invite you to come in for a first session so that you can get a better sense of what it feels like to work together. If it doesn't feel like a good fit, don't be afraid to say that and to look for a different counselor!

What do you most want help with? There may be a variety of things going on in your life that you are dealing with. Think about what external factors are most difficult for you to deal with, as well as what internal factors within yourself you are hoping to change.
