With over 26 years of experience in outpatient care, Sports and Orthopaedic Therapy Services, LLC is one of the leading Physical Therapy private practices in the Washington, D.C. area. We evaluate and treat a wide variety of orthopedic sprains and surgeries, sports injuries, work-related ergonomic disorders and more. Our convenient hours include early morning and late afternoon appointments for those who work. We do not close for lunch and try to accommodate patients with special needs. All treatments are by appointment only and we provide free parking to all of our patients. Our treatments are comprehensive and include what you need to get better not just what the insurance carrier pays for.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial visit including checking in and the therapist’s evaluation and treatment will take approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Bringing in the necessary paperwork, especially the prescription/referral form, will speed up the check-in process considerably. Many times patients forget this which means the treatment will be delayed until we can contact the physician to fax us another copy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
patients are provided with individualized rehabilitation programs using cutting-edge approaches and techniques. We treat problem areas both generally and specifically in order to impact the problem from above and below. All treatments are progressed to maximize the speed of recovery but also to minimize your discomfort. Your goals are always considered when normalizing your symptoms and function.

Sports and Orthopaedic Therapy Services, LLC participates with most insurance plans and carriers. We accept most group health insurance plans; below is a complete list. Our staff will work with you to confirm your eligibility and benefits for physical therapy prior to your first appointment. All therapists are Medicare-certified and understand the limits of the current cap restriction on benefits.
