What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Following an initial consultation we will meet with you for 2-3 sessions to understand your history and your needs so that we can offer an appropriate treatment plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our clinicians have graduate degrees including Masters in Social work, Masters in School Psychology and Doctoral degrees in Psychology.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide services for all ages from very young children to seniors. Parents often seek our services for help with behavior problems while adults seek us out for issues ranging from depression and anxiety to grief and trauma. Recently we have seen an increase in calls related to anxiety due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When looking for a therapist it is important to know their training and experience. The relationship should also feel like a good fit for you. Research and understand the difference between a counselor, therapist, and psychologist so that you are getting the kind and level of care that you need.
