Laura Garrett is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado, Oregon and Washington, a National Certified Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor in Fort Collins Colorado. She has over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families with areas of specialization in relationships, addictions, life transitions, stress and anxiety. She is the founder and executive director of Bridgeways, LLC. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness in her therapeutic practices. Her approach is integrative, and She is committed to working together with individuals to achieve their therapeutic goals! She is also the author of What Happens After "Happily Ever After?" and Creating Your Own Fairytale Life.
Laura's clinical experience is vast ranging from counselor to clinical director. She has worked in various clinical inpatient and outpatient settings, counseling, supervising and developing an intensive outpatient, relapse prevention, domestic violence, DUI, parenting and relationship skills programs.
Laura received her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 1991 and her Colorado License in 1994 and Washington license in 2018. She became certified in addictions counseling in 1994 and then went on to pursue her second Masters degree in Education from Colorado State University which was completed in 2014.
Laura is now offering online sessions for individuals living in Colorado, Oregon and Washington.

I colloaborate with the client to set treatment goals and we work together to accomplish these goals. I use a CBT, mindfulness, solution focused approach. I provide a safe, confidnetial environment for clients to express their feelings.
