About
I'm entirely grateful for the knowledge and skills I've acquired, both when a patient confirms the results we set forth as an intention, as well as when challenged by a condition or symptom which reveals a new path of healing. The most effective patient/doctor relationship is one which employs a team effort between the two.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every one of us is unique. We manage symptoms in our own way, too. I like to meet with each individual in a one-to-one setting and learn through a conversation, what challenges he/she may be experiencing, what that person hopes to achieve by receiving acupuncture and/or biopuncture, and what their desired time frame for an outcome is.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, Colorado, a four-year program, including two years of clinic, from 2013-2017 to earn my Master of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture degree; and Emperor’s College of Traditional and Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California, a two-year program providing a dual-specialization in Internal Medicine & Physical Medicine, from 2019-2021, graduating with a 4.0 GPA to earn my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I have a total of over 1250 hours of clinic and clinical case studies. I maintain certification and licensure as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), having previously worked as both, an employee and independent provider of surgical services at hospitals in South Carolina, North Carolina, and the Denver metro area beginning in 1988, 1990, and 1993, respectively. My acupuncture education includes, but is not limited to: Anatomy, Physiology, Acupuncture Physical Exam and Differential Diagnosis, Acupuncture Point Location with Underlying Anatomy, Acupuncture Needling Techniques, Injection Safety, Acupuncture/Acupoint Injection Therapies, Pharmacology, Clinical Practice, Clinical Case Study, Externship, and Certification in Clean Needle Technique (June of 2015). I additionally maintain the education and experience necessary to perform other permissible adjunctive therapies safely and effectively. These include but are not limited to acupressure; auriculotherapy; basic life support in the event of an emergency, cupping; Classical Five-Element Acupuncture, gua sha; Korean hand acupuncture; moxibustion; tui na; as well as electrical, electromagnetic, manual, mechanical, and thermal treatment; the recommendation of therapeutic exercises; and, subject to federal law, the recommendation of herbs and dietary guidelines, as defined by traditional oriental medical concepts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have a fee schedule. All new and existing patients receive a copy upon their first and subsequent visits, whenever there is a change to it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Follow your instincts, at all times, and for all things.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How does whatever symptom or challenge each one may be facing related to them and only them? Make no comparisons. Ask a lot of questions.
