I graduated from Denver Seminary with a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have over six years of experience both in community mental health and private practice. In those settings I have worked with individuals and families. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). I am also a Domestic Violence approved provider (DVOMB). And I am a board-certified counselor (NCC). I am also trained in brainspotting and EMDR. I also offer supervision for those working on licensure and have training in clinical supervision.

My rates are $140 per session. I have several spots for a sliding scale based on income. I also accept Cigna, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Health Care, Oscar Health and Oxford.

I have worked in both community mental health and private practice and have worked with adolescents, adults, and families. I approach therapy from the narrative of the client as our stories make us who we are. I also work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model as our thoughts, emotions and behaviors all impact each other. When we begin to change our faulty narratives, we begin to experience change and healing in our lives. My passion is working with trauma, as our trauma often impacts our lives either consciously or unconsciously and can cause us to be stuck in many avenues of our lives. When we’ve experienced trauma, our bodies often hold onto that trauma and through utilizing EMDR and/or brainspotting, we work together on healing both the mind and body.
