Kristen Lewis, LMFT
About
Welcome! Are you feeling anxious or stressed, perhaps about this current virus situation? You are not alone. I specialize in working with anxiety, overwhelming feelings, and trauma; I am here to support you during this difficult time whether you've been impacted by the virus or have been struggling with anxiety or a trauma for a while now.
*I work with adults, children, teens, couples, and familes.* When working together, you will learn tools on how to cope with overwhelming thoughts and emotions, how to work through difficult relationship situations, and how to be more at peace with yourself. Whether you can’t stop worrying, or are feeling down without knowing why, my goal is to provide a space for you to voice your feelings and worries to start feeling better.
Please visit my website for more information about the services I provide: www.KristenLewismft.com
*I currently provide video or phone sessions due to the corona virus situation* If you are unsure about video sessions, we can always try it out and see if you like it. It can take a little bit getting used to, but usually it feels more comfortable after the first session. We would then transition to my office, if you like, when the time is right.
Please contact me at: 303-416-6128 for a free phone consultation or visit my website at: www.KristenLewismft.com. Or you can email me at: [email protected].
I would love to speak with you more about what you are looking for and to see if we'd be a good fit.
I love this therapy work because it is so rewarding to see clients change and become empowered. I find it increadibly meaningful to hold space for clients and to be with them while they process their deep emotional pain.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would love to speak with you on the phone to provide an initial free consultation. If we decide to meet, my first session will be an intake session, which is the gathering of information to determine if we are the right fit. I will ask about your struggles, history, and how you have been coping. I will then provide you feedback and recommendations for the treatment process moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and accomplished 3,000 hours of supervised training that was required in California. I endorsed my license to CO in 2019.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have a standard full fee, but can also provide a reduced rate if needed.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with children (ages 2-17), parents, individual adults, families, and couples.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Meeting a therapist in person can be extremely helpful for deciding whether or not the therapist may be the right fit for you. It can also take few sessions to determine suitability and to start feeling comfortable with the therapist.
