About
Hello,
My name is Omal "Bani" Saberi, I'm a parent and grandparent.
I use multiple tools including: journaling, role-play, meditation, hypnosis, art, forgiveness etc. which support diverse populations, specifically different cultures. I'm ONLY comfortable using tools, I've personally used, not training and practicing on clients first.
It's important to me, I continue to learn "life lessons" as my practice incorporates ways to become even better than before.
I have been in practice full-time for 18 years, prior to being a full-time practioner, I was working for many years with children and their parents, and for non-profit agencies.
As a LCSW doing therapy, I have been honoured by writing articles for magazines and for being on ABC local Channel 7 for person of the week.
Thank you for visiting. Good wishes on your journey to find the best of who you are. Don't hesitate in contacting me. I can provide telephone therapy, as well as in office sessions.
I believe in building an emotionally safe environment for clients, as they enter phases of their life that need mending, recreating or creating.
It's a priviledge and honour to work with people who enter the therapuetic relationship. I enjoy watching people who are motivated to grow and change, with intention, in whatever manner and speed.
It's an enjoyable experience working with clients, as I too learn from them, we're both student and teacher to one another.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's best initially for clients to contact me by email [email protected], it's more efficeint than playing telephone tag.
Initially, based on the needs of the client, I ask clients questions about their expectations and experience in therapy, if they have questions for me, then have a couple of assessement sessions, current situaion, history, family etc.
Depending on client's needs, together create short term & long term goals with objectives to achieve them. Tools are given to assist in meeting goals and objectives including: journaling, communication techniques, reading books, etc. In the therapy session, tools can include role-play, drawing, picture therapy, mediation, guided imagery and hypnosis and of course processing feelings
I use many techniques as I work with diverse populations, and found that talk therapy along with adjunct modalities can assist people in getting their needs met.
As with any service it's really important the client and I are on the same page and can feel comfortable with one another.
Thank you, I hope this brief information can be helpful.
