What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to understand what, if you got what you wanted out of therapy, your life would be like: what you’d be doing, with whom you’d be doing it, where you’d be doing it. I want to create a very clear, specific picture of your goal so we will both know when you are approaching it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have a Masters degree in clinical psychology, over 1000 hours training in hypnosis, much of it through the Milton H. Erickson Foundation. I have taught hypnosis st MRI in Palo Alto.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
full fee is $125, and I consider a sliding scale.
How did you get started in this business?
A mentor partnered with me John Frykman, PhD.
What types of customers have you worked with?
couples, adults, late teens. I’ve worked with those taking professional licensing exams utilising hypnosis as part of their preparation, to a lot of success. I also see families.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
i love live music and just last night , saw Lucia Micarelli, of TREME fame.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
call me and interview me. Ask if mybtraining, joe I work, and anything else that would lead you to work with me confidently.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do you know, clearly what you are looking for as an outcome to working with a professional? If not, where do you feel stuck? If so, what would help you have a very specific view of your goal and what would be the first , small step for you to take in moving towards it?
