I offer an eclectic approach to Pyschotherapy amd treat primarily anxiety, depression and PTSD in adults 18 to 65. My style is warm, relational and I strive to meet people where they are at. I enjoy working with diverse people from all walks of life. We are all more alike than different!
I believe that we all deserve support and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with those who might need a little direction and getting unstuck from a past that might hold you back.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I simply want to make my clients feel comfortable, understood and that there is hope. Second, I have several question on a worksheet we fill out together in order to assess were my clients are at in their lifestyle habits so we can begin were there
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's in Counseling Psychology and 4 years in practice as a coach. I have also worked in community mental health supporting people with both mental health and substances use issues.

I currently accept cash per session fees start at 100 per session for 1 hour. I do offer sliding scale for those with less means. I believe that everyone should have access to adequate support and though I need to be make a living, I am willing to work with committed individuals to support their growth.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been on my own healing journey for over a decade and believe in paying it forward.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people with people from all walks of life. Mostly I focus on alternative lifestyle communities and marginalized peoples.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently went to a Mindfulness group for women. It was relaxing and inspiring. I strive to bring more awareness into the world to practice mindfulness and do so myself.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Call the person and talk to them. Ask them questions. Follow you intuition about if the person is a good fit. Keep looking if it isn't a big YES! Coaching should be short term, reachable goals. If the person doesn't help you find goals and create a map towards them, look for someone who will help you create concrete reachable goals.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask about: Education, experience, number of people they have helped with similar issues you are facing, how the billing works, what their policies are concerning confidentiality, and most importantly, what they thinkk they are meant to do for you.
