About this pro

I have been a practitioner, author and educator in the field of Rolf Structural Integration and Holistic Health since 1999

I see patterns where others don’t and I can find most peoples origin of pain or restriction very quickly.

Therfore, most of my work is about getting to the origin of pain / restriction instead of chasing symptoms.

With me you learn to understand your body and how to stay out of pain and into Optimal Performance.

I have been treating the staff at UCSD since 2005 and have done close to 10,000 sessions in that time

I have a lot of reviews on yelp and some on google if you search for Pain Away Strategies

 I love connecting with people

Everyone is so unique in the patterns that they present to me and every day and session is a discovery and deeper understanding of the human body and how it moves.  I have the curiosity of a kid and so intrigued by the work I look forward to every session and what it may bring.

I have been do this work for nearly 20 years and I haven’t had a boring day yet!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically do a free consultation with new clients to get their history and to find out not only what is the problem but a little bit about who is the person that is coming to me with this problem

This assessment included conversation, movement assessment and palpating the muscles and tissue to find the areas that are challenged.

We discuss goals and match the best approach to achieve these goals.

And as my wife tells me: She knows what she wants... and she has the right to change your mind...

You can decided to change Crouse of treatment as you learn to listen carefully to what your body communicates and needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a Holistic Health Practitioner since 1999

I have been primary factulty at the Intitute for Psycho Structural Balance from 2001-2017 teaching and training practitioners in Structural Integration

I am a Board Certified Structural Integrator (BCSI)

I have served in many different capacity’s on the Certification board for Structural Integration (CBSI) including active part of creating the certification exam

20 years practitioner of Tai Chi

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

My prices can be found on the schedule tab of my website:

I have per session pricing

and discounted rates for packages for those that need more than one session

How did you get started in this business?

I got started in this field in pursuit of relief from injuries I incurred while in the Navy.  I was given doomsday prognosis from my doctors and didn’t believe in them.  I looked for other answers that led me to Structural Integration.

Structural Integration resolved my issue where other treatments couldn’t and I knew I had to learn how to do this to help others.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked on children to the elderly

I seem to work well with highly movitivated individuals that have a clear goal in mind whether it is to get out of pain or Break a new personal record.

People that want to be able to do more than they presently can

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

First, communicate and see if you resonate with the practitioner.

secondly get a session and feel how the interction flows and results

L don’t believe that pain is necessary in order to get out of pain i.e Pain ... no gain

If you work with a practitioners that tells you that you need to tolerate the pain... I would leave and not come back. (Unless you like that sort of stuff)

let me be clear that at times there is some intensity to the work, but this is managed and acceptable to all parties

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

be honest and inclusive

Have a clear goal of what you want and shoot high
